*COME WHAT MAY -- (Mardi Gras Ball x Mathew Kaskel seedling) (Mardi Gras Ball) Sev. 6” fl. 28” sc. M.  When I first bloomed Lady Betty Fretz, I didn’t think it was possible to breed another such beautiful eyed, double edged flower.  Then appeared Come What May, with its dramatic rose red eye and double picotee.  Come What May has its own attention grabbing personality and color pattern.  The base color is a cream peach with a green throat.  The eye is a rose red that continues along the petal edges as a wide rose red picotee.  The picotee is surrounded by a second, ornate bubbly gold edge.  Come What May stands out with its large flower size and its very heavy ruffling.  Top this off with superb scapes with 4 side branches plus top branching carrying 35 buds.  Very beautiful, large flowers, and a superb parent.
